Right in the heart of Stanley Square, Wood Fire Smoke Sale opened its doors in September 2024 — and we’ve loved every minute of being part of this brilliant town. We came to Sale with a simple ambition: to be your local pizzeria, and to make sure everyone feels welcome when they walk through the door.
We make our dough fresh every day, slow-proved over 72 hours before going into a wood-fired oven at over 400°C. Light, chewy, properly charred at the crust — San Marzano tomatoes, fior di latte mozzarella, the best toppings we can source. Classic Neapolitan pizza, made properly.
We’re open most days from noon. Take advantage of our daily Lunch Deal — because what’s better than pizza for lunch? On Mondays we run Margherita Monday: a full Margherita or Marinara for £5.95 all day, no catch. We’re BYOB too, so bring your favourite bottle. We also offer click & collect for nights when the sofa wins.
If you love film, we run a weekly Pizza Club with the Northern Light cinema — fresh pizza alongside a film at one of Sale’s most-loved local spots. It’s become a proper Sale institution.
We’re here for everyone. Families, couples, groups, birthday dinners, a midweek treat — whatever brings you in, you’ll find a relaxed, lively and welcoming atmosphere. Our team will look after you. Book online or walk in; there’s always a warm welcome.
