Sitting in the heart of Congleton’s vibrant Market Quarter, Wood Fire Smoke Congleton opened in December 2023 — bringing authentic, wood-fired Neapolitan pizza to Princess Street, just steps from the market and the best of what this town has to offer.
We make our dough fresh every day, slow-proved over 72 hours before going into a wood-fired oven at over 400°C. Light, chewy, airy — with a crust that’s properly charred and blistered. San Marzano tomatoes, fior di latte mozzarella, and genuine care goes into every topping, from the classics to the specials.
With indoor and outdoor seating, we’re set up well for all kinds of occasions. Families, groups catching up, couples on date night, birthday parties, solo diners — there’s always a spot for you. Book online, walk in, or grab click & collect when you’d rather eat at home.
We love being part of Congleton’s community. Our Saturday bottomless brunch with Rumba Congleton is one of our favourite collaborations — pizza, cocktails and good company in equal measure. It’s become a proper local event.
